the magnet arrived on time. it does hold, however the magnet is not strong enough to hold strongly the weight of a modern smartphone. the package includes a round magnet band, which can be glued to the phone. this solves the issue and makes the phone hold on tight. HOWEVER, only one magnet band is included, so effectively only one family member can use this
